How to make a simple easel

Cut the supporter for the legs. Size: 2,14 x 2,75 x 27,5 inches long (2,29 foot)

The upper angle is about 45 degrees and the and the bottom angle is about half 22 - 30 degrees. It's easy to estimate the bottom angle If You put the upper angel towards the legs when You have  cut it.

The legs needs some more support. This is a suggestion which fits very well. I don't know what the name of it is or for what purpose it was made, but it worked very well.

You can see the feet with its supporter to the legs. The hinges which I used have the same width  as the supporter. A good idea to make  the legs more sturdy is to put  two screws into the  legs insert from the bottom under the feet. Feet size: 8,66 width x 0,78 inches thick x 23,62 inches long (1,96 foot)

Here is the frame placed back of the board. Observe the empty space between the right side and the lower frame.This space is for the right leg so it they can tight closed to the chalkboard. Also notice that there is no frame on the top of the board. This space is for the top board to connect to the chalkboard. The simple easel is ready to use! I'v put a small shelf for the chalks at the bottom of the chalk board  with the same size as the lower frame side: 3,28 width  x 0,97 inches thick x L44 inches  long (4,59 foot).
